The Challenge:

Our client, GaN Systems is the global leader in GaN power semiconductors. When Trier began working with GaN Systems in 2017, the words ‘Gallium Nitride' (GaN) were unknown – to stakeholders, to media, to analysts, and most importantly – to potential customers. Trier’s mission was clear – educate the market about GaN, gain media exposure and Share of Voice (SOV) and feed the funnel for lead generation. GaN Systems needed to cut through the complexity of its industry with compelling content and a stimulating, distinctive identity. Beginning with a deep Messaging Architecture, PR, Thought Leadership, and Content Marketing plan - Trier helped GaN Systems express the aspirational ‘why’ behind their business model. And most importantly, Trier began establishing GaN – as a technology – attributed to GaN Systems.

The Strategy:

Acting as GaN Systems’ global PR, content, social and in-house marketing team, Trier developed a brand strategy and a PR, content marketing, and social media strategy focusing on education, PR, POV content, and thought leadership. Trier developed strong relationships with the semiconductor media – in North America, EMEA, and Asia. We drove leads through dedicated inbound marketing campaigns. Trier’s social media practice developed a B2B social media strategy for GaN Systems inclusive of multiple social channels and interactive social campaigns. GaN Systems LinkedIn followers increased from 2,000 to over 10,000.

The Results:

Trier works daily with GaN Systems to become the go-to industry resource by achieving repeated success with trade publications and the global business press. Consistently, over the past five years, GaN Systems has ranked #1 in Share of Voice over multiple competitors. With an integrated marketing approach, focused on PR, content, social media, digital marketing, speaking, and awards, GaN Systems has been able to accelerate momentum on multiple levels: PR, content, marketing campaigns, demand generation, and thought leadership. Trier has helped improve organic search traffic to GaN’s website and increase first-page Google search rankings for top keywords and provided strategic counsel for both content marketing and social media marketing programs.
